Tips on How Students can Survive the Academe

It’s high time to face another deadly year ahead for others especially to students. And hell yeah I miss being a student and getting all fuss up when classes are nearing. Every year, for students, has a random intensity on how rough and bumpy the school life will be. Some face really rough roads where it’s hard for them to move on, and luckily, some travel an already iron-smooth path.

Based on my experience as a “former student” (with emphasis on the former), I guess I should share some secrets on how to enjoy the year while getting good grades. But this doesn’t mean that if it works for me it will also work for you. I just don’t want to give false hopes though.

GEAR UP. What do I mean by this? It means that you need to be prepared everyday by bringing necessary books, notebooks, supplies, and stuffs. Seriously, there are those teachers who are implementing “NO PAPER BEGGING POLICY” or else you’ll get a deduction. Not to mention that P.E. classes are quite the strictest in terms of requirements almost all of them though so it’s better to have those stuffs all packed up in your bag.

TEST THE WATERS. Seriously don’t take the plunge right away or else you’ll never want to enter classes again. You test the classroom environment as well as the teacher’s personality by behaving in class for the first few weeks before you go all out and be yourself. Try to know which among your class the terrorist – I mean the terror teachers - belongs. You don’t want to be dropped out of class, do you? This is also the time where you try to learn how the teacher gives test and homework and the like. It helps you adjust on things on your study habits.

BE THE CAPTAIN OF YOUR SHIP. Learn how to prioritize stuffs especially if you’re given loads of projects and assignments. Don’t let others decide what you are going to do especially if they are tempting you to go to parties, watch movies, and have sleep overs. Finish your loaded works first. And when you feel that you have enough time then party all you want; however, have the discipline to wake up early even if you stayed up late. Every minute counts so when you have a little time in between classes don’t hesitate to do your stuffs.

I don’t know if this will help but I hope it will. Do your best guys! I think I’ll be posting best study habits next. Who wants that? I bet every does. :D Comment below if you have any reactions.
