Not Yet Employed?

To all those who just recently graduated, kudos! However, welcome to the unemployed group (I think most of them will be obligated to join this group for a couple of months). I know that what comes into your mind after graduation is to have non-stop vacation escapades with your friends and batchmates to relieve you of your stressful college years. I think it may be a good idea but not all the time. Perhaps there maybe times that you are just waiting for the scheduled trips right? So while waiting,  how about procure some of the requirements needed for employment. It'll make your day productive and lessens your burden of being pressured to get all those requirements in less than a week.

So I'll be giving you the list and the how-to's about these stuffs but this is only limited here in Cebu.

1. NSO BIRTH CERTIFICATE - this is one major requirement. Before graduating, I think your school/university/college ask you to settle this before you take your gracious walk and take into your hands your diploma. You can get this online - https://nsohelpline.com/. Or if you wanna tire yourself waiting in line, you can get one at the NSO office. There will be probably 3-days for the processing and would cost you around Php 140.00 (this is the price for the manual processing).

This will be a requirement for getting your NBI Clearance, SS Number, and postal ID. So prioritize this since you will no longer have your school ID unless you have a driver's license.

2. CEDULA - you can get this at your CITY HALL. Before, you need a ID for them to copy your details. Now, you just need to write those pieces of information in a sheet of paper and submit it to them. It'll probably cost you Php 50.00 or less.

You'll need this once you will apply for a postal ID (a valid ID that is usable for 3-years) and for getting your police Clearance.

3. BARANGAY CERTIFICATION/ CLEARANCE - obviously, you can get this at your barangay where you live. They will probably ask you if you are a registered voter so that it'll be easy for them to look into your personal information. Your picture will be taken in front of a web camera so you need to look neat. It usually needs the signature of the barangay captain so if he is there you can get it right away. You need to pay Php 35.00 for it. (I don't know if the payment is fix).

You'll be needing this one once you apply for your police clearance and postal ID.

4. SS Number - at SSS office you can get this by processing your E-1 form. all you need to have is a photocopy of your Birth Certificate. If you are in a hurry, you can probably arrive at the SSS office around 7am because office hours starts at 7am and you'll get your priority number there. It will take about an hour or so to finish the processing.

Since we are in the SSS section, you'll probably need a SSS ID so here's the requirements:
  • Full accomplished application form (E-6) - this will be given upon getting your priority number
  • Any of the following valid IDs:
    • Driver's License
    • Passport
    • PRC License
    • Seaman's Book
  • If you don't have any of the ID's mentioned, you may submit any 2 of the following documents:
    • UMID Card
    • GSIS eCard
    • Voter's ID
    • Senior Citizen's ID
    • NBI Clearance
    • Postal ID
    • School ID
    • Company ID
    • TIN Card
    • TOR
    • OWWA
    • Pag-ibig Data Form
    • Birth Certificate/ Baptismal Certificate
    • Barangay Clearance
    • Philhealth ID Card

5. NBI CLEARANCE - this one has a hassle on waking up early just to get priority numbers. In Cebu, you have the main office at Capitol Site and a satellite office at J Centre Mall in Mandaue. For the meantime, I recommend getting your clearance at J Centre Mall. So what do you need? just your printed online application form (you can get it here - http://nbi.njis-ph.com/) and any valid ID's or any of those stuffs presented in the SSS Section. For employment purposes, you'll need to pay Php 115.00. But if your name gets HIT (which means there is someone who has the same name as you are who has a derogatory record), you'll need to go back after 3 working days. Fret not because you just need to go to the releasing section immediately and present your receipt and claim it without waiting in the line.

6. PAG-IBIG NUMBER - this one you just need to process it online and have to follow through text. You can visit this site PAG-IBIG Registration. It's easy and you'll just wait for your Pag-ibig number because they are going to notify you thru text.

I think this would be helpful to not yet employed graduates while waiting for their vacation trips. BE productive during those dilly dallying moments. :) By the way, I am not connected to any of these agencies. I am just sharing easy ways to process these stuffs. :)
